Essential Oils For Babies And Children

Must Have Essential Oils for Babies and  Children

Lavender – In our home we use lavender for healing cuts, scrapes, burns, and for its calming properties.  Seriously, no parent should be without it’s ability to calm excited children into peaceful sleep.  I like to apply a few drops to the feet and or diffuse into the room.

Peppermint - We use peppermint for headaches, upset stomach, flavoring tea and candy and for opening stuffy noses.  I like to mix this one with a carrier oil such as extra virgin olive oil or jojoba oil and apply to the temples and base of neck for headaches, directly on the stomach for stomach pain, or on the upper lip and chest for congestion. I also add a drop to water for upset stomach.

Clove – The ultimate in teething comfort! I am very cautious in diluting this one for tooth pain because it is so strong and a tiny bit works so well.  I always test this one in my mouth before I apply it to sore gums. Works great for numbing
